FAQ

Can I have more than four players in my team?

Yes, however we recommend that teams are made up of 2-4 people to maximise the enjoyment of the experience for all players. Children under 12 may join a group for free.

The average playing time is 3hrs.

The playing zone is about 1km sq and the average distance covered while playing the game is around 4km.

We are compliant with all current regulations. The game takes place outdoors. The onboarding space is indoors but it is brief, and we have staggered the entry times for different players to minimise the amount of people in the space at any one time. This is why it is important that you start the experience within ten minutes of your ticket entry time. The staggered starting times and self-guided elements of the game also help to minimise player congestion around city centre locations included within the playing zone. If you have tested positive for Coronavirus or are experiencing symptoms, please do not attempt to play.

Whilst we try to ensure that the App and playing area are as accessible as possible, we are unable to guarantee accessibility including for wheelchair users across the playing space. Please note that the game content includes both audio and written text, and is currently in English only. If you have any questions about accessibility then please contact the team for further information prior to purchasing a ticket.

Please check through your spam and promotional folders in the first instance, searching for “Fame Game” and “The Little Box Office”. If you still cannot find our email, please contact us at marketing@mercurialdance.co.uk with your full name and the email address that you placed the order with so that we can resend it for you.

Yes. Please forward them your email confirmation with pre-game briefing instructions, and tell them to bring the attached e-ticket along on the day. The email will tell them where the starting point of the game is.

Yes – great news is under 12’s go free with their parents. Fame Game has an equivalent age guidance of PEGI 7 games rating – there are some mild connotations of threat/violence  (implied, non-detailed, finding a missing contestant). However, please be reminded that this is an outdoor experience and involves up to 3 hours of active walking so may not be suitable for small children. Please remember all under 16’s need to be accompanied by a responsible adult.
